To the Studio, that is, let me show you around.
My name is Justin Godwin, and I’m an award-winning designer from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I’ve got over a decade of design experience covering a wide range of creative work.
I started this studio to show that I’m more than just a designer behind a desk. I’ve been an executive chef and retail food supplier, which gave me an eye for food photography and design. I’ve also worked as a carpenter building custom houses. Those experiences give me on-site knowledge that a lot of designers don’t have.
Design has always been a big part of my life. Back in high school, I bought my first computer and taught myself Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I spent hours making album covers for my friends’ bands, side projects, and even my own hip hop album.
In 2018, I launched Good God Garlic, a garlic sauce brand with bold flavours that people couldn’t get enough of. That’s when I realized I was more in love with branding and packaging design than cheffin' in the kitchen.
Since then, I’ve mastered Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Procreate. My passion for design led me to Centennial College, where I completed an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design. While there, I earned multiple scholarships, kept a 4.27 GPA, and even received an honourable mention in packaging design from the Association of Registered Graphic Designers (RGD) of Canada.
In 2022, I founded Good God Graphics, a creative studio specializing in logos, branding, marketing materials, social media strategies, and web design. My goal has always been to create designs that are memorable, recognizable, iconic, and accessible.
I also worked as Lead Graphic Designer at BOND|ST Events Centre, where I managed branding, social media, and design projects for two music venues, a café, a restaurant, and a lounge. That role gave me the chance to lead projects in art direction, photography, promotional design, web design, video production, and menu creation.
In 2023, I organized a burger and sides pop-up called Garage Sale. It was a fundraiser for local food banks where I took on the branding, design, promotion, merchandise, and event coordination with a small team.
Now, in 2025, I’m also working as a UX/UI Designer at IdeaLogical, where I focus on user research, interface design, prototyping, and working with developers to create digital products that people actually enjoy using.
At Good God Graphics Creative Studio, we take on everything from branding, illustration, photography, UX/UI design, packaging, merchandise, and album artwork.
