JAPANESE ROCK | PACKAGING
Japanese Rock Packaging was a conceptual design project by Good God Graphics. The assignment was to take an everyday object and reimagine it with full packaging treatment. The chosen object was a simple rock from Japan, gifted by a co-worker, which became the foundation for the project.
The design process included creating a dieline, building digital mockups, and producing a final package that treated the rock as if it were a valuable product. The goal was to elevate a humble object through thoughtful design, giving it presence and meaning beyond its ordinary form.
By approaching the project with the same care given to consumer goods, Good God Graphics showed how packaging can transform perception. A plain rock became a designed experience, proving that even the simplest items can feel significant when presented with creativity and intention.
