OXILIARY
OXILIARY is a social music app built to connect you to your friends and others around you. OX’s main goal is to update you with your friends' current streaming music. We aim to connect more people around you with our OXmap, which shows you nearby OXies and what they are currently listening to. From the OXmap, you will be able to share the currently listened-to song and post a comment about it as well. You will be able to comment on other OXie’s current songs, posts, reply to comments, like their posts, and comments. You will be able to follow fellow OXies, and from there, you will always be able to see all their music streaming broadcasts from OXILARY.
OXILARY is a play on the words “auxiliary cord” and the popular term “pass the aux”. OX will connect music nerds, party people, low-fi chillers, and all-around music lovers like never before. This new way of networking through music will show people in your area what they are currently listening to, whether they stream on Apple Music, Spotify, Tital, Soundcloud, Bandcamp or whatever they use.
Privacy will be a number one concern for our app; that is why it will always be optional to share your location. Either keep it private, share publicly, or just with your friends.
